The Horned Frogs Are For Real.

The TCU Horned Frogs claimed the No. 4 spot this past week by continuing their 9-game win streak. Skeptics would disregard the Horned Frogs as a legitimate contender because of a weak schedule and even weaker conference. TCU is a member of a conference that lacks the prowess of the SEC, Big 12, Big Ten, etc.,but the Mountain West Conference surprised everyone last year when the Utes of Utah whooped Alabama and Nick Saban in the Sugar Bowl and more recently with BYU's astonishing defeat of then ranked No. 3 Oklahoma. The Mountain West currently has three teams ranked among the Top 25 according to BCS standings, and next weekend will play host to the conference's biggest matchup: undefeated TCU vs one-loss, no. 16 ranked Utah. Just because TCU is not a large school, do not overlook their talent. Let us not forget that Ladanian Tomlinson attended Texas Christian and look how he turned out. Quarterback Andy Dalton has one of the best completion percentages (currently 64%) and has passed for 16 touchdowns. The combined efforts of Joseph Turner, Ed Wesley and Matthew Tucker total 1424 yards rushing and 18 touchdowns. TCU is also outscoring their opponents by 236 points. Watch out for the Horned Frogs of TCU to upset any team's dream of postseason success.
