Never Thought I Would Say This

Thank God for the Kansas City Chiefs. I never thought I would say that but with the way the Raiders have operated as an organization and played on the field it is nice to know that it could get worse, if we were the Chiefs.
With the way Larry Johnson's relationship with the team has crumbled from a combination of trade demands and Twitter blogs, it let's me know the Randy Moss saga could have been a little bit worse. And the way that Brandon Marshall resolved his conflict with the Broncos bummed me out, I was hoping he be traded far away from the Broncos but he remains in Denver, a happy ending for Broncos fans.
With the Raiders being at 2-6 at the bye week, I can look at the division standings and see them in 3rd place ahead of one team, Kansas City who is now 1-7 after losing to the Jaguars.
Usually road games inside the division are tough, but the Raiders have been able to win the last two seasons at Arrowhead Stadium, while they have lost always in San Diego since 2003.
With the Raiders at 2-6 right now it is tough to be a true fan, but as I look at the last 8 games I see a winnable game, next week the Chiefs come to town. It is nice to know that things could always get worse.
THANK GOD FOR THE CHIEFS, it still burns my tongue a little bit.
