Australia produced a devastating display to beat India by 6 wickets and win the ODI series in game 6 in Guwhathi India won the toss and elected to bat 1st but they found themselves in trouble very early on, Mithchell Johnson removed openers Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir in the 1st over, the home team soon found themselves reeling at 27-5. A good partnership between Praveen Kumar and Ravindra Jadeja who both scored 50's eneabled India to post 170 but it never seemed likely to be enough. Although Australia did lose an early wicket they managed to consolidate and get home comfortably to seal the win and with it clinch the series with a game still to play. Australia have been playing some good one day cricket in recent times, they beat England in England in the Nat West Series 6-1 and they backed this up by defending their ICC Champions Trophy title in South Africa. It is hard to see India upsettting the Betting Odds and winning the next world cup.
