Browns Looking At Mike Holmgren

Bryan Brackney by Analyst Written on November 08, 2009
Adam Scheftler of ESPN is reporting that the Cleveland Browns are interested in hiring Mike Holmgren after the season. According to Scheftler, Holmgren would have a role similar to Bill Parcells in Miami.

This could signal the end of Eric Mangini's tenure as the head coach in Cleveland. Scheftler is also reporting that Browns owner Randy Lerner will also look at Ernie Accorsi, Rick McKay, and Ron Wolf.

The Browns could need much work in the offseason. Running back Jamal Lewis is expected to retire after the season, and work will also be needed at wide receiver, tight end, quarterback, and a new contract for Josh Cribbs.
