Injured Crowder, Ferguson inactive for Dolphins

FOXBOROUGH, Mass.(AP) — Linebacker Channing Crowder and nose
tackle Jason Ferguson are inactive for the Miami Dolphins
against the New England Patriots.

Sunday’s game was the second straight that Crowder missed with a
left shoulder injury. Ferguson has an elbow injury.

Miami’s other inactive players were running back Kory Sheets,
tackles Andrew Gardner and Lydon Murtha, wide receiver Patrick
Turner and linebacker Quentin Moses.

For the Patriots, defensive end Jarvis Green was inactive after
undergoing knee surgery.

Four other players remained sidelined – tackle Matt Light with a
knee injury, wide receiver Julian Edelman (arm), running backs
Fred Taylor (ankle) and Sammy Morris (knee). Also inactive were
cornerback Jonathan Wilhite, linebacker Eric Alexander and
offensive lineman Rich Ohrnberger.
