Hamburglars Look to Prove Buffaloes Wrong in recent PA Controversy

The Hamburglars are the classic 'Tale of two teams' so far this season. With two early losses to the "Houston Sex Cannons (Brian W)" and "Da Cold Purple N GOLD (Chase B)" Hayden's team looked as if it just wasn't meant to be. After his week-one loss to Brian W a reporter asked him how he felt after such misfortune. "Dissapointed. Mainly [just] in my players' performance."

After the first two weeks though the 'Burglars racked up six straight wins, and Hayden felt better than ever. "I think my players have stepped more into their roles in their teams' offenses', and are now built to smash" explained "hScar" going into week 8 on the road. Well, on the "road" it was, and Hayden was forced to concede as the game ended in a tie, giving the away team the "L" and the home team (Arnold Palmers) the "W".

Time To Look Ahead

This week though, Hayden looks to redeem himself as he faces the man who has given him more "smack" than anyone, "kG". kG has recently argued that the only reason why hScar's team won so many games in a row, putting him ahead of the Buffaloes until last week's infamous tie, is because of the ever-so-important "PA" statistic, or "Points scored Against". While kG's argument is valid and respectable--the game of Fantasy Football doesn't always come down to picking the best players--it comes down to "luck" as well sometimes.

The Matchup.

And so here they are, after weeks of smack talking and counter-smack talking the two are finally in a head-to-head matchup. However, they aren't playing each other in typical fashion. Both players will be without their main running backs tomorrow. The Hamburglars are without Marion Barber, who is too risky to start based on his recent injuries, and the Buffaloes are without star running back and former second overall Fantasy Football pick, Adrian Peterson.

With both backs out and both fantasy owners taking as many risks as possible to get a win and pull out in front of the pack in hopes of a playoff run, the matchup is unmistakably close "point projection" wise. Although, Hayden does think "Santana [Moss] (Buffaloes) isn't gonna do as good as they're projecting him to do." But what he forgot to mention when I discussed the showdown with him is that Julius Jones (Buffaloes) gets to play the Detroit Lions this week in what will be a very favorable matchup in kG's favor.

With all of this said, the game Sunday will be a close one, and my hunch is that hScar pulls out the win--even with Barber out of the line-up. I know it's not exactly rocket science, but with both teams playing without some key components, I have to go with a guy who's starting two players playing an awful defense in the Bears this week (Larry Fitzgerald and Tim Hightower).
