The Cowboys really impressed me. I thought they were going to lose by 32 points but they only lost by 21.
Props to the 'Boys.
But hey, i guess we'll see yall in the Super Bowl.

Before yesterdays game, I was wondering if the Cowboys world win a close game, lose a close game, or get blown out. After the first quarter I was leaning towards the latter. But when the Cowboys took the lead in the third quarter I was expecting a tight one.
One arguement against the Cowboys this year is that they haven't faced anyone until this week. And for the most part that has been true. They did play a game at Soldier Field that was expected to test them, but the Bears defense has been less than stellar.
But until this week, who have the Patriots played? They have played the Jets, Chargers, Bills, Bengals, and Browns. While I will agree that the AFC is the dominant league, I would say that the NFC East is a better division that the AFC East. The AFC East has a combined record of 8-15, and without the Pats it is 2-15. The NFC East is 13-8.
I am not anti New England. I am just trying to provide balance to the arguments that the Patriots have God playing quarterback while the cowboys have the supposed "cupcake" schedule. In fact, I think the Patriots are playing at a level all their own, while you have second tier teams such as Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, and Dallas, and then you have the rest of the NFL.

That Indy game in early November may prove to be the biggest regular season game in modern day NFL history. This Patriot offense looks like a straight-up machine. It looked like there were only a few teams with a chance of beating them coming in...now you can likely remove Dallas from that list. They piled up 48 points (could've been 60, IMO) on the 8th ranked defense, in Texas Stadium, with their 3rd string RB playing most of the game. Double cover Randy Moss? Stallworth and Welker combine for 260 yds. and three TD's. Weak schedule thru six weeks, a lousy AFC East, what difference does any of that make? It's right there for all of us to see; this Patriot team may prove to be one of the greatest the NFL has seen in a long, long time.
