Alright for starters I am back, and I am just as cynical as before.

Before all of the BJJ fanatics start trying to talk about how I just want to watch a kick boxing match, I am going to go into detail about the reason I feel the way I do.

I personally have no problem with BJJ, in fact I have taken classes.  I know the concept of ground fighting and I am fully aware of the importance in making MMA what it is.

Jake did not do anything other than battle for position against Miller, he got great position several times and did nothing with it other than ride out a decision.

Miller was mere seconds away from making Shields take a nap with a rear naked choke, and I was so disappointed knowing that I was going to have to be frustrated through another round of watching Shields bore me with ineffective body taps, and no real submission attempts.

I hope Shields performs better in his next fight and decides to do a little more than score points...an attempt at finishing the fight would definitely be a nice change of pace.
