I just received breaking news from the Memphis Commercial Appeal and Rotoworld.

It appears that Memphis Grizzlies point guard Allen Iverson has left the team for personal reasons. It was reported that Iverson met with Michael Heisley last night after the team's loss to the Lakers and met with him again this morning.

Iverson then went off to Atlanta. Why Atlanta?

The Commercial Appeal says that is where he lives in the offseason.

Iverson never did that much in Memphis, only playing three games from the bench and going out with a hamstring injury. He was expected to start tonight against the Clippers, according to ESPN and The Canadian Press.
