So I had a little time on my hands and went down to dig for the stats sheet. Now the years that mean the most to a football program are the most recent ones.
If you look at the colleges with most titles it would be Princeton and Yale and THEN Alabama so the stats I use here are the BCS rankings which does not include performances from the 1950s. So please dont be upset if your university had a title in 1990.
Get ready..strap your seatbelts. You may be in for a shock.

Remember the stats stand from 1998-2008 NOT the current years performance stats. Also I know that a lot of teams have switched conferences and may have a strange number of titles but it still shows the amount of quality has history some teams have had in the last 11 years.

Another thing to remember...these are END OF SEASON rankings. I understand there are a lot of people who hate the BCS ranking system doesnt mean much but I like to believe it does hold a lot of weight. If you dont care for it...you may stop reading this article..remember you arent forced to read it :D
