I am so proud to have taken in the 2009 baseball season rooting for the Philadelphia phillies. they have showed what the game can be. Honorable and hard work will take you far. This year it didn't spell World Series "Victory" But these guys are the only Champions i see!
To me they were and are the team to beat. When you use your God given talents to get you to where you want to be. They conducted themselves with professionalism and sporstmanship. They also had some phenominal things happen during the World series. like Chase Utley going deep two times in two different games.
I walk away with respect for this team. Who didn't use any kind of enchantments or magic to try to get this win. Just good old fashioned elbow grease. That elbow grease took them all the way to the World Series. Otherwise i wouldn't hve peaked in, not even a little.
So, because of them i experienced my 1st and 2nd world series two years straight. Many teams make it to the World series but it's rare that they make it back in consecutive years. Awesome work guys!
They conducted themselves like World class Champions and still are to me. Not only that but have become my heros. i have really grown to love the Phillies as a Club and rank them with some of the top Athletes from the sports world.
Things you may not have known: 2009, biblically 9 is a spurious number, anyway, in many cases. So let's look to 2010. 2009 in many circles, is being billed as a year for witchcraft and black magic, freemasons... And in fact biblically there's some basis. So we're glad we didn't win:O) People might think we did some hocus pocus!
P.S. Well next up 2010 Let's get some praying in for the next season! And celebrate the great work done this year!
