World Number 3 Novak Djokovic battled hard before sealing his place in the final of the ATP 500 event in Basel Switzerland.

Djokovic was up against Radek Stepanek of the Czech Republic.

The duo also met in the 2nd round of the US Open back in 2008 Djokovic managed to win that match in a 5th set tiebreaker.

The Serbian went on to stun the tennis world and reach the finals of the US Open he lost the title match to Roger Federer however 7-6 7-6 6-2.

This time around Stepanek won the 1st set on a tiebreaker and at this stage an upset seemed to be on the cards.

However Djokovic dug very deep and managed to win the 2nd set 7-5 to level the match and send the contest into a 3rd and final set.

The Serb then raced through the final set 6-2 to book his place in the final and set up a potential clash with World Number 1 Roger Federer.

It is hard to see Djokovic upsetting the Betting Odds and winning the title.
