Clint Bowyer was atop a very interesting Sprint Cup practice at the Texas Motor Speedway friday afternoon that seen several cars get into trouble off turn 2. Several drivers including Jeff Burton, Mike Bliss, Jamie McMurray, David Reuitmann also a few other drivers had some issues in that practice. Greg Biffle a former texas winner and Jimmie Johnson were second and third and the springs race winner Jeff Gordon was fourth and Carl Edwards fifth.

Everyone says Johnson has the title well not exactly he needs to finish 10th or better going into the final three races and im sure the other drivers in this like Martin, Gordon and Montoya have'nt gave up just yet. So if Jimmie has a bad day and finishes bad this thing is still on going into Phoenix and Homestead.

Watch Nascar Sprint Cup Qualifying friday at 4:30pm est on Speed and then two practice sessions Saturday on Speed.
