Bryant to Enter Draft

Oklahoma State junior wide receiver Dez Bryant has said he will enter the 2010 NFL Draft.

The announcement was made on Thursday, November 5th to ESPN columnist Tim Griffin. “This year didn’t go the way I wanted it to,” Bryant said. “It was so hard. And to be honest I had my head down at times. But the NCAA has made their decision. And I respect that. And now I’ve made mine.”

Bryant is currently suspended from playing with the Cowboys. He was declared ineligible by the NCAA after lying about his relationship with Deion Sanders.

On our list of junior wide receivers, Dez is ranked at the top as #1. He is projected to be a first round pick and may very well go in the top 15. There are several teams in the first half of the first round that, quite frankly, need him to solidify their WR core. The Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills are, as of today, the most likely teams to draft him about midway through the first round next spring.

Bryant says he, “can only hope to live up to receivers such as Randy Moss and Anquan Boldin.”

“I love the game,” Bryant said. “I have a passion for the game. Football is what I do. And any NFL team that I play for is going to get great effort.”
