Australia held their nerve to seal a thriller against India and take a 3-2 lead in the One Day series after their 3 run victory at Hyderabad.

Australia had looked on course for a comfortable victory at half time after they posted a formidable total of 350.

However a superb innings of 175 from Sachin Tendulkar put India on the brink of a stunning victory but the some side lost wickets at regular intervals and in the end they were bowled out for 347 with 2 balls to spare.

During Sachin's innings he became the 1st man in history to go past 17,000 runs in One day cricket Earlier in the day Shaun Marsh made the 1st ODI century of his career, in doing so it means that Shaun and his father Geff are the 1st father and son combination to make ODI centuries.

The next match will be a day game on Sunday and a must win game for India. It is hard to see India upsetting the Odds and winning the series.
