Here is a look at drivers that have not faired well in 2009. This was suppose to be their year yet again they cannot seem to find them self's at the top. Once again some of NASCAR's top drivers will not be dancing at the end of this season. This Slide show is to point out who might have had a better year this year like: Dale Earnhardt Jr, "well we have 10 laps to go wait the yellow is out Jr is in the wall" or how about Kyle Busch missing the chase?!?!?!?! who would have ever guessed that.

Kyle Busch

Kyle Busch did decent this year but failed to make the chase. He also failed to get into a fight with Carl Edwards this year.

Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Well you could say that this was a rebuilding year for Jr but then again you could say that the last 3 years where rebuilding year.

Michael Waltrip

Rackmultipart

It has been 6 years since Michael has won a race. this year has been no different as a driver, but as an owner his "Franchise" did get to do a little rain dance earlier this year. But still as a driver Waltrip has had a long dry spell.

Jeff Burton

If the RCR Stable had a theme song this year it would be "Free falling". In the year of the old man (Mark Martian) Jeff Burton finds himself with 3 races to go in 17th in points no wins and only 3 top 5's

Carl Long

How about this guy this year, he has somehow managed to somehow end up, with 3 races to go, with -200 points

Jeremy Mayfield

Rackmultipart

Well this year has been the beginning of the end for Jeremy Mayfield after being indefinitely suspended by NASCAR mayfield has fought back and even if he is not guilty he will not have a warm welcome back to the sport.

Kevin Harvick

Rackmultipart

once a happy-go-lucky Harvick has fallen on hard times, just like the economy. Harvick's average finish last year was 12.4 this year it is 20.8

Matt Kenseth

Rackmultipart

The Iron man of the chase finally did not land his spot in the chase. but other than that he has really had a normal year.

David Ragan

Rackmultipart

Since becoming the "Delivery Boy" David has found him self driving like he is in a UPS truck. Last year his average finish being 15.4 but this year his average finish is 24.4.
