Normally, I wouldn't complain about these things. But the Timberwolves came within mere seconds of tying the unbeaten Celtics, and two fouls remained uncalled.

Celtics up 92-90.

The Wolves got possession of the ball after Paul Pierce missed a shot that would've put the game away.

Wolves get the rebound and dribble down the court and call a timeout with around 10 seconds left.

They inbound, and get the ball knocked out of bounds. Nine seconds left.

The Wolves get the ball to Brewer, who dribbles through the middle, and gets slapped by the former Wolf KG.

This kind of call happens all the time; there was a jump ball call, when Brewer clearly gets hit on the replay. However, this isn't what bothers me.

On the jump ball, Brewer actually came away with the ball, and knocked in the direction of Jonny Flynn, whose ability to jump for the ball was impeded by Rajon Rondo who was pulling down on his jersey.

This really grinds my gears.

Rondo knocked the ball way out of bounds, and Jefferson got the inbound, and flung up a wild three to give the Celtics the win 92-90.

I'm not proposing a new replay rule or anything, I just think it's an injustice to my Wolves that free throws could've decided the game, when in reality, the Wolves were given zero timeouts, and one 0.9 second chance to win the game from half-court against the best defense in the league.

Another observation about the game: Oleksiy Pecherov's game high 24 points.

Look out for my Timberwolves everyone, they came within a nose of beating the now 6-0 Celtics.
