MINNEAPOLIS - JANUARY 4: Adrian Peterson #28 of the Minnesota Vikings celebrates his touchdown with teammate Jeff Dugan #83 in the first half against the Philadelphia Eagles during the NFC Wild Card playoff game on January 4, 2009 at the Hubert H. Humphr

The top 10 players in the NFL today. The players with most excitting Touch Down passes, catches, returns,or runs. It involves the should-be MVP of this season 2 players that are on teams that are undeafted, and from the defending Super-bowl champions. It has the leaders in passing yards, TDs, and pct. It has the leader of picks and pick yards and sacks. It has the leaders of tackles and sacks.

10.James Harrison

He was the Defensive Player of the year last year. He also had over 10 sacks last season! Past week 8 of this 2009 season he has 8 sacks all ready.

9.Troy Polomalu

90584993

In 2009, Troy played 2 games in the first 8. In each of those games he got a pick. Even though Troy is injury pron he still has as good as numbers as any in the league when he plays half the games.

8. Brett Favre

Everyone says Brett is just old and has been around so long is why he set all those records like passing yards and TD's. Despite he holds the record for most picks in one's career, he is still a Hall of Fame QB.

7. Ed Reed

The Pro-bowler safety, Ed Reed has led the league in picks more than once, and interception yards. He also led the league in interceptions returned for TDs more than once. He also is the heart of this top Defense in the league that led that Ravens team to the playoffs last season, until giving up a third loss of the season to the Steelers.

6. Andre Johnson

92599249

Andre Johnson is a pro-bowler every year. That really knows how to play. He has never been considered the best reciever in the NFL because of Larry Fitzgerald. Andre Johnson is one of the best return men in the NFL watch for him in the NFL Hall of Fame.

5. Peyton Manning

92599272

Peyton Manning led the league in Passing yards in ''98'', ''99'', ''00'', ''01'', ''03'', ''04'', and ''06'' After winning t Superbowl ''XLI'' he was the first player to win all three MVP awards he was the NFL MVP twice, he was the superbowl 41 MVP and was the MVP of the Pro-bowl.

4. Randy Moss

91422233

He set single season record with 23 TDs in 2007, succesful with many different offenses and QB's is a major reason why he will land in hall of fame

3. Larry Fitzgerald

92349391

Last year Larry continued his impressive stats he was a monster for the Cardinals in the playoffs. He caught the catch that should of won the game for the Cardinals, in the superbowl last year.

2. Drew Brees

92621218

Drew Brees the best QB so far of this year is considered the Mid Season MVP in many people's eyes. To me, he is a shoe-in. He led these Saints to an undeafted season at half way. In 6 games so far the Saint's offense has scored 45 points.

1. Adrian Peterson

92599890

In Adrian's first season he was already considered the best back in the league. He also had over 1,300 yards. He led the NFC in rushing yards that year, which was his rookie year! Then in 2008 he won his first but not last rushing title when he was still out for part of the season with injuries.
