The Sabres look to bounce back into the win collum tonight as they host former goalie Marty Biron and the New York Islanders at 7:00 PM at HSBC Arena.

Tuesday was an eventful day at practice as not only Jason Pominville announced to the media his good news with the birth of his son Jayden this weekend.  It’s awesome. It’s tough to describe what it really is, but once you get here it’s all business and you come to work said the Sabres alternate captain.

There is more good news for the Sabres is that they seem to have recovered from the flu bug that hit the team this past week. Monday, forward Paul Gaustad returned to the team, Pat Kaleta rejoined practice – skating for the first time since missing Saturday night’s game against the New York Islanders.
Kaleta was unsure whether he would be in the lineup for Wednesday night’s rematch against the Islanders, but said he would be ready.

Faceoff time tonight from the Downtown arena is at 7:00 and Rick Jeanerett has the action on the Sabres Radio Network, including the flagship station for the Sabres... WGR 550 AM Buffalo.
