I know it was against a one win Cleveland Browns team, but a win is a win in the NFL.

A lot of positives to take from this game.

Matt Forte scored two rushing touchdowns and had 90 yards on 26 carries. He looked like the Forte that we saw all last season. Devin Hester quietly had seven receptions for 81 yards, and almost broke one for a touchdown on a punt return. Jay Cutler was sacked four times, but stood strong in the pocket as he performed better, when the Browns brought the blitz. The defense played like the unit that we saw for so many seasons. Danieal Manning had his best game ever, with a fumble recovery and an interception. Peanut Tillman brought back the first defensive touchdown this season for the Bears after his interception. Switching Hunter Hillenmeyer to MLB looked to be a great move, and Nick Roach was credited with two forced fumbles. The Bears held the ball for 15 minutes longer than the Browns and the defense produced five turnovers.

It was a game where the Bears could have put up 50 easily, but they failed to get into the end zone on their red zone trips, instead they settled for field goals.

The negatives from this game were the red zone problems, the offensive line and bad play calling by the offensive coordinator Ron Turner.

You can’t really tell if the Bears are really that good of a team after one week they get destroyed by the Bengals and than they follow that up by blowing out the Browns.

The Bears face the Arizona Cardinals next week in Chicago and Arizona will be hungry for the win after allowing the Panthers to run all over them. The Cardinals have an elite offense with Warner under center and Fitzgerald and Boldin catching the passes. The defense ain’t to bad either, they have one of the best rush defenses in the league. The Cardinals, who were a dreadful team on the road last season, have one all of their games on the road this season, but haven’t been very good at home.

Both the Bears and Cardinals are 4-3, but the Cardinals don’t have much competition in their division. The Bears need this game more to keep up with the 7-1 Vikings, who are on a bye week.

The Bears are 6-0 in their last six games at Soldier Field. We should see a very good game, the Bears are the favorites by three points.
