ITS really unfortunate to see the current captain of sunderland not being included in the arsenal squad.not sure whether you lads believe in the quality and potential of loric cana an Albanian player currently playing in the premier league.he was signed for 5 million pounds by sunderland in the recently concluded transfer window,surely thats a great buy according to steve bruce who made him the permanent captain after seeing his fantastic man of the match display against chelsea and blackburn rovers.
he carved his reputation as a strong tenacious tackler,he is a defensive midfielder and well built over six feet in height; ideally suited for a team like arsenal to slot in that holding midfield role.he was awarded the Albanian player of the year award in 2004.he was pretty much successful with olympique de marseille before coming to sunderland; so french division 1 being the favourite legue for wenger how did he missed out cana,whoz just 25 years old??is this due to the reason that he is too old to play at 25 or wenger doesnt want to sign anyone over 20??
he has already captained Albania as well as maresille so his leadership skills is worth having on the turf when playing against tough opponents.at the moment arsenal just lacks a bit in the defence and how on earth did wenger allow a player of the calibre of cana join sunderland,considering the importance of an holding midfielder for arsenal after the departure of viera and flamini??
you got to have tough tackling players on the turf to make the job difficult for the opposition and at the moment only alexandre song is the only one capable of doing that and still arsenal doesnt need a well eshtablished defensive player in the middle(considering song is still not a finished product,he needs to work on passsing and break up of play).as a biased arsenal fan i would have surely enjoyed watching loric cana in arsenal colours but just beacuse of arsenal's careless scouting that didnt happen.
despite the miss all u gooners watch out for loric cana when arsenal takes on sunderland next time and realize how good a player he is.
