Shane McMahon tendered his resignation as Executive Vice President of Global Media effective January 1, 2010, Shane stated, "It has been an incredible experience to help build WWE into a global phenomenon. However, having been associated with this organization for the majority of my life, I feel this is the opportune time in my career to
pursue outside ventures."

Stephanie McMahon Levesque is the WWE's Executive Vice President of Creative Development and Operations, she only goes on the road during weeks when there are PPV while spending most of her time at WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut.

Vince McMahon is current WWE Chairman and CEO but at age 63 there has been much speculation as to who will take over when he can no longer run the company, Many felt that Shane and Stephanie McMahon would fill his role.

But with Shane McMahon departure, it now appear that Stephanie along with her husband Paul Levesque (Triple H) will take over the WWE.

And while Stephanie McMahon has assumed a bigger role as to the creative operations of the WWE from her father, Shane McMahon had worked to promote the WWE globally and while that is an important part of the business,

its not a role that a Shane McMahon should be doing, its a less role for someone who played a major part in the 90's development of the WWE.

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter at "Bragging Rights" 2009 PPV.

Bucky Palermo, a longtime friend of the McMahon's, came to the show and spoke to Stephanie McMahon after a friendly conversation , He asked to speak to Vince (who eventually spoke to him) and then Shane, Stephanie told him, "He doesn't work here anymore" When asked what happened, she said, "I don't know" and walked away.

There has been much speculation as why Shane McMahon has left the WWE but it now seems there might be underlying reasons.

Just weeks before Shane McMahon resignation, Linda McMahon announced she was stepping down as WWE CEO to run for US Senate.could it be that Shane biggest ally is gone.

Could Shane McMahon's departure be due to Stephanie McMahon and Triple H being in control of the creative operations of the WWE and with Linda McMahon gone there could be no one for him to turn too for support.

But what about Vince McMahon, why wouldn't support his son or could it be that Vince has more faith in his son in law Triple H.

Triple H married Stephanie McMahon on October 25, 2003 and has became one of Vince McMahon trusted advisers, Triple H sets in on production meeting, books matches not only for himself but other wrestlers.

There have been rumors and accusations of Triple H using his power on other top wrestlers, like top wrestlers being moved from shows that Triple H was on because Triple H felt they where not at his level.

Kip James, formerly Billy Gunn said "He's what holds people back, it's not talent. He gets threatened by guys that are better than him, He's got Vince's ear."

While you could say Kip James has a personal problems with Triple H, other wrestlers have agreed with his statement.

But while Triple H does have a huge role in the WWE, Stephanie McMahon wield the power, telling ESPN's Jeremy Schaap " One of my biggest challenges is manging my father."

Vince McMahon said that he was saddened by Shane departure and was proud of the enormous contributions he made, but Vince didn't leave the door open for Shane, is that because of what Vince wants or Stephanie wants.

If Shane McMahon left the WWE to "pursue outside ventures" Why would Stephanie McMahon sound so angry when asked about Shane, was it because she felted abandon by Shane or could be a feud between the sibling for the WWE that lead to Shane McMahon Leaving.
