Australia produced a battling display to fight back and beat India to level the series in Mohali.

The tourists looked to be short of a good total at half time when they were bowled out for 250.

Cameron White topped scored for Australia with 62 while captain Ricky Ponting made 52. India got off to a flying start in their run chase, Virender Sehwag smashed 30 from just 19 balls and Tendulkar made 40.

However after that the home side lost wickets at regular intervals and in the end they fell short by 24 runs.

Australia have been playing some good One Day cricket in recent times they beat England in England 6-1 in the Nat West Series, and they then defended their ICC Champions Trophy title in South Africa last month.

Australia are currently ranked number 1 in One Day Cricket will India are ranked number 2.

Australia are currently ranked number 1 in One Day Cricket will India are ranked number 2.

It is hard to see Australia upsetting the Betting Odds and winning the series.
