Jurgen Melzer stunned the tennis world and won the ATP Event in Vienna Austria, in front of his home crowd. Melzer defeated the talented Croatian Marin Cilic in straight sets in the final.

The 1st set was a tight affair but Melzer managed to edge it 6-4. The 2nd set was slightly more one sided as the Austrian won it 6-3 to seal a 6-4 6-3 victory and the title.
Cilic has been in very good form in recent times, he reached the Quarter Finals of the US Open where he beat Andy Murray in the 4th round 7-5 6-2 6-2.
He then reached the final of the ATP Event in Shanghai, having beaten World Number 1 Rafael Nadal 6-1 6-1 in the Semi Finals. Melzer will be delighted that he was able to upset the Odds and win the title.
