Well this is a very widely discussed topic. The real answer is No, at least not yet. It is true the Dolphins are 3-4, but they do put up some yards doing this. The play takes no time to develop , the quarterback doesn't need to hand it off. You don't know which side the runner will go, or even if he will pass it.

The Dolphins last year went 11-5 using it. They didn't get far into the playoffs but the year before they were 0-16. When they use it the opposing team has trouble stopping it. They sometimes get over 230 yards plus using it for rushing. Some teams attempted it and failed. Is it possible the Dolphins have been planning to use this for years, I doubt it but they certainly perfected it of all the teams.

They almost beat New Orleans ,but just blew the lead. I don't know how long or well this will work in the future ,but it will catch on. Some teams will have a success using it and some will fail.

What gets me is, the Eagles could do this with Vick. He could be a receiver or a running back could backward pass it to him and have him launch it. The problem the Eagles is that they use Vick just to run. All teams know that's what they are using him for.
