NASHVILLE, Tenn.(AP) — The Jacksonville Jaguars deactivated
cornerback Rashean Mathis against Tennessee as expected Sunday
with his broken left finger. The Titans are sitting cornerback
Nick Harper as he recovers from a broken right arm.

Tennessee also deactivated defensive end Jevon Kearse for a
third straight game, and this time Kearse is a healthy scratch
after practicing the past couple weeks. Kearse didn’t stick
around Oct. 11 when he was a healthy scratch against
Indianapolis.

The Titans will start William Hayes for Kearse, while Jason
Jones starts for Jovan Haye at defensive tackle with Haye
deactivated. Rod Hood started for Harper.

Reggie Nelson starts for Jacksonville for Mathis, the Jaguars’
career interceptions leader.
