The Kansas City Chiefs season has been disapointing to most fans and a better season to some fans. But you got to understand this is not the same team from three years ago when LJ had a MVP type of season. And its not the same team from the earlier 2000's with Priest Holmes, Trent Green, Tony Richardson, Dante Hall, and Trent Green all in there prime. So here is a list I made of the top 10 players for the Chiefs so far this season. And I just made this because I'm bored because the Chiefs have a bye week.

Tamba Hali, Linebacker #1

78648521

Tamba Hali has shown that he knows his new role as linebacker in the 3-4 defense. He has already matched his 16 game sack total from last year with 3 last year and already has that total in 7 games. He has shown he is the best player for the Chiefs so far this season.

2009 first half stats:
23 tackles, 3.0 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 1 safety, 1 pass deflection

Brandon Flowers, Cornerback #2

83262326

Brandon Flowers has shown that he could be a Pro bowler for years to come. He is probably the 3rd best cornerback in the AFC West behind Champ Bailey and Nnamdi Asomugha who are both all-pros.

2009 first half stats:
21 tackles, 2 interceptions, 8 pass deflections

Jon Mcgraw, Safety #3

91751140

Yes I know Jon Mcgraw is mainly a special teams player, but the Team Captain has not just shown that he can be an outstanding special teams player, but a solid starter. Jon Mcgraw should be voted to the pro-bowl as a special teams player

2009 first half stats:
13 tackles, 1.0 sacks, 1 blocked punt for a touchdown

Mike Vrabel, Linebacker #4

90333095

Mike Vrabel has shown he still can play despite his age. He has also been the biggest leader for the Chiefs.

2009 first half stats:
28 tackles, 1.0 sacks, 1 forced fumbles, 3 pass deflections, 1 reception touchdown

Matt Cassel, Quarterback #5

91753301

Matt Cassel only threw 2 interceptions in 6 games until he threw 3 against the Chargers. He has shown to be a solid NFL starter. He reminds me of a young Jake Delhomme.

2009 first half stats:
994 passing yards, 126 rushing yards, 8 touchdowns, 5 interceptions

Glenn Dorsey, Defensive End #6

83127782

Glenn Dorsey has been impressive and way above expectations for a man switching from a Defensive Tackle to Defensive End. He is a very underrated player i feel he should be higher on this list. He has proved to be one of the best defensive lineman in the AFC West as a dominate run stuffer.

2009 first half stats:
25 tackles, 1 pass deflections

Mike Brown, Safety # 7

91222428

Mike Brown is a tremendous leader in the locker room and is a very underrated player. He is currently 2nd on the team in tackles.

2009 first half stats:
43 tackles, 1.0 sacks, 1 fumble recovery

Ryan Succop, Kicker #8

89817755

Mr. Irrelevant has proven he is no longer irrelevant. The rookie in his first game hit a 53 yarder with his first field goal attempt of his career.

2009 first half stats:
9 for 10 field goals, long: 53, 37 points

Dustin Colquitt, Punter #9

83262304

Last year if i was to make this list a year from today he would be number 1. He is arguably the best punter in the league. But sorry Dustin Colquitt i dont like kickers and punters thats why you are not number 1. And Tamba Hali is a better player. But still i would put Dustin Colquitt on my Pro-bowl roster.

2009 first half stats:
46 punts, 44.5 average, long:64, 19 punts inside the 20 yard line.

Dwayne Bowe, Wide Receiver #10

92393486

Dwayne Bowe has seemed somewhat disapointing so far thus season. I think mainly, because he doesnt get thrown to nearly as more as last year. I think we should throw to him more often.

2009 first half stats:
23 catches, 301 yards, 4 touchdowns
