India's Captain MS Dhoni and star batsman Yuvraj Singh put on a century partnership to guide India, to a six wicket victory over world champions Australia in Delhi.

Australia won the toss and decided to bat 1st but the tourists only managed to make 229-5 from their 50 overs.

Although India did lose early wickets a superb 71 not out from Dhoni and 78 from Yuvraj saw India take a 2-1 lead in the 7 match series.

Australia have been playing some good One Day cricket in recent times, they beat England in a One Day series in England 6-1, and they then regained their ICC Champions Trophy title in South Africa last month.

Australia were dealt a huge blow before the game when it was announced that pace sensation Brett Lee will play no further part in the series due to an elbow injury, Lee has returned home to Australia.

It is hard to see India upsetting the Betting Odds and winning the series.
