An elbow injury means that pace sensation Brett Lee has been ruled out of the remainder of Australia's 7 match ODI series against India.

Lee is one of the most feared pace bowlers in the world and this latest development will be a huge blow to Australia. Lee will now fly back to Australia for treatment.

Australia have been playing some very good One Day Cricket in recent times having beat England in England 6-1 and then defending their Champions Trophy title in South Africa.

Lee also played an instrumental part in New South Wales winning the Twenty20 Champions League, he starred with bat and ball in the final against Trinidad and Tobago.

Australia are currently the number 1 ranked side in the world and they are also the reigning World Cup Champions.

The last time these 2 teams met in a ODI Series India won the final of the commonwealth Bank series 2-0.

It is hard to see Australia upsetting the Betting Odds and winning the series.
