At the age of 19 Michael Shawn Hickenbottom began his Pro Wrestling career, after wanting to be one for seven years. Michaels fit in with the wrestlers well do to his kind fun postive attitude.

Shawn Michaels found his way in the AWA after going through several diffrent promotions. Shawn Michaels was reunited with his long time friend Marty Jannety, and were paired up as a tag team eventually called the Rockers.

Succesfuly they one tag team gold, but they wanted to reach even higher heights. They signed a contract with the WWF in 1987, but were fired the next because of smashing beer bottles, and creating a feud with Jimmy Funk.

Shawn was very sorrow even thought about commiting sucide, he worked for AWA again, and was still The Rockers. But in 1988 WWF took over AWA, so Vince McMahon hired many AWA wrestlers including Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannety.

The Rockers spent almost two years together until Vince McMahon had bigger better plans for Shawn Michaels, leading up to a scene were Shawn superkicked his friend Marty Jannety through a barber shop window.

Michaels and Jannety went there seperate ways after that with the exception of a small feud. Michaels was now a big time heel, and was being manged by the famous heel Valet Sensational Sherri.

Shawn won the Intercontental Championship from Davey Boy Smith in 1992, this was his first ever Championship in the WWF and he couldn't have been more proud. Sensational Sherri and Michaels weren't together no longer, and neither was the Intercontential Championship after dropping it to Marty Jannety.

Shawn came home one evening, and turned the TV on to the WWF's competing rivals WCW. He watched it and saw a massive of a man known as Kevin Nash. He contacted Vince McMahon that this is what HBK needs, Vince excitedly agreed with the idea, and Michaels went down to WCW and offered Kevin Nash a WWF Contract.

Michaels and Nash from day one became best friends. They were both alike, and very open to each other. Michaels won the Intercontental Championship back from Marty.

Shawn left WWF after being Tested Postitive for steriods, even though he didn't. He made his way back to WWF shortly after. Shawn won the same title yet again which led up to one of teh greatest matches of all time, Shawn Michaels vs. Razor Ramon at Wrestlemania 10 in a ladder match.

Diesel (Kevin Nash) and Shawn Michaels feuded after Michaels superkicked Nash and caused him to lose the IC title. This feud is what Vince McMahon was building for, for Wrestlemania. Shawn won the Royal Rumble in 1995, and was set to take on his friend Kevin Nash at Wrestlemania 11. Michaels lost to Desiel for the WWF championship at a good match at Wrestlemania 11.

Shortly after Shawn became a babyface, and was the leader of a group called the Kliq. This group didn't last all that long, but Michaels did win the 1996 Royal Rumble for the second year in a row, and went on defeating Bret Hart in a 60 minute Iron Man Match for his first ever WWF Championship.

Kevin Nash and Razor Ramon were set to go back to WCW, on Kevin and Razor's last night Michaels beat him in a steel cage match. Afterwards the four unsepertable friend Kevin, Razor, Triple H, and Shawn all hugged each other in an inncedent called the Curtain Call.

Triple H took the heat from The Curtain Call, almost getting fired. Michaels held the WWF title, until dropping it to Sycho Sid in late 1996. He regained the title at the 1997 Royal Rumble for his second title regin.

A little before Wrestlemania 13, Shawn had to have surgery on his knee. Shawn returned and formed a group known as D Generation X. He formed this with his long time friend Triple H, Rick Rude, and Newcomer Diva Chyna.

The object of the team was to be goffy, and show humor. Triple H and Shawn Michaels were perfect at this role, because this is how they were in real life.

At 1997 Survior Series Shawn Michaels defeated Bret Hart in his home town Canada. Bret Hart never tapped out or got pinned, he was litteraly screwed out of his title which became known as the Montreal Screwjob.

Shawn had the WWF and European Championship which he won a little while back by defeating Davey Boy Smith. Michaels lost the European title to his friend Triple H soon after.

After an amazing match with Stone Cold Steve Austin at Wrestlemania, Shawn was forced to retire after a dreadful back injury that he suffered against The Undertaker in a Casket Match.

Through 1998 to 2002 Shawn Michaels stayed inactive from the WWF ring. During that time he married a former WCW Diva Rebbeca, they had a baby boy in 2000 named Cameron. Also Shawn started his own wrestling school that consisted of two former wrestlers for the WWE Lance Cade and Brian Kendrick.
