This morning I wake up and head right to the sports page, and read up on what happened in sports the night before, and start watching video of what I did not see.

Case in point in San Antonio, Spurs guard Manu Ginobili seems to be like a guy who does not like bats. Yes on Halloween night it seems like someone let loose a bat in the game between the Spurs and the Kings. The bat held the game up and during a play, Manu, bats this flying bat right out of the air, and yes...the poor bat dies.

There is all ready talks with Manu, and PETA that he will be doing some commercials for his intense hatred of bats.

"They just freak me out man." Ginobili said. "I just can not stand seeing them, and if I do I get this incredible urge to kill it. I can't help it! I could not even watch Batman when I was a kid because those bats freaked me out! And I love the concept of Batman! Dark irry man saving people from getting hurt, or even worse killed by a bad guy...Yea...I'd love to be Batman...I'm BATMANU!!!!! BUT I REALLY HATE BATS!!! And on Halloween, some of the guys don't like playing on MAJOR HOLIDAYS like Halloween. Me? I will work EVERY year on this holiday, just because of those damn wicked things. I hate the nightmares they give me. But PETA and I are going to get together and do a public service announcement for what I believe are millions and millions of people just like me who suffer with this afliction and hatred towards bats. It  will go a little something like this...hit it..."My name is Manu Ginobili, and I hate bats! Too me they are just like rats, they are grimy, scummy, filthy little things, but we have to learn to live with them and not hurt them. Yes, even a bat has feelings, and I did not know, what hurt I could cause to all those bat lovers out there for killing just one. So if you are in a situation, and there is a bat flying around...think of them like birds...you wouldn't hurt a bird...just hope they fly into a window so you can say...HEY! I did lay a finger on that thing!" I am Manu Ginobili, and this was a Public Service Announcement from PETA, and me, saying killing bats...it is just wrong!

Spurs Guard Manu Ginobili did not really say these things (like I really needed to say that). This was an article to show that yes PETA will have something to say, and Spurs Guard Manu Ginobili, will never live it down, before he says he is sorry. And that just shows PETA is way too powerful in our society today. Pretty sick.

There has to be something done about this group. Yes there are times when animals get abused, and someone needs to step in, but when an organization like this gets to a radical point, they have gone too far. Hey we all love animals (unless you are Michael Vick), but Spurs Guard Manu Ginobili should be commended for his lightning fast swat, then for his abuse to that poor little animal. You want to blame someone for this bat getting killed, blame the dumb@$$ who decided it would be funny to let one go in the middle of a basketball game to get some laughs.
