Fans are an integral part of any soccer match. TexSport Publications photographer Darla Tamulitis accompanied me to the Mexico-Panama Gold Cup 2009 game at Reliant Stadium in Houston. These are photos of some of the fans that attended the game to support their favorite team. There is always as much of a show IN the stands as ON the field. In true soccer fashion, the fans from both teams realy got into the game to support their favorite team. Soccer is truely an international sport, and no matter where you come from, what your economic status is, or any one of a million things that make people different, one sport transends all the differences...and that one sport is SOCCER!

A lone girl shows who she is supporting early in the game.
