India are on top in the 3rd ODI against Australia in Delhi. Michael Hussey played a superb innings and made 81 from 82 balls but the tourists were only able to post a below par total of 229-5 from their 50 overs.

Australia won the 1st match of the series by just 4 runs but India rebounded to stun the cricket world and win by 99 runs the home team's skipper MS Dhoni made a century in that game.

Australia have been playing some excellent One Day Cricket in recent times, they beat England in the NatWest series in England and they backed this up by winning the ICC Champions Trophy in South Africa earlier this month.

Hussey played a very patient innings early on but as his confidence grew so did his range of shots, it is Husseys 3rd consecutive 50 in this series.

There are 4 matches remaining in the series after today.

It is hard to see Australia upsetting the Betting Odds and winning the series.
