Everyone ready for Brett Favre Weekend II?

I have to say I am miffed at baseball right now. If it were not for the MLB and its insane playoff schedule, baseball would be over and NFL fans across the country would be feasting on Packers-Vikings from Lambeau Field on Sunday night.

Luckily, most of the country does get Favre's return to Lambeau in the Fox late game. It should be fun to watch.

Oh and unlike last week, where I told you guys to bench Favre at Pittsburgh, you should absolutely have him in your lineups this weekend. Favre's return to Lambeau cannot be anything but magical, right?!?

Peep the rest of the week 8 start/sit advice after a few injury updates.

Brian Westbrook, RB, Eagles: Westy was knocked out of Monday night's game before ever really getting things going for his fantasy owners. It is hard to believe he will play this weekend after such a dangerous head injury but the Eagles are not counting him out just yet. Looks like a game-time decision, have LeSean McCoy at the ready.

Ahmad Bradshaw, RB, Giants: Bradshaw seems like a ticking time bomb. With a cracked bone in his foot, to me it seems only a matter of time before he leaves a game prematurely. As a Bradshaw owner in a few leagues, I am going to find it pretty difficult to start Bradshaw under these circumstances.

Calvin Johnson, WR, Lions: Megatron returned to practice yesterday in preparation for this weekend's game, the first sign that he might actually suit up and play. Fantasy owners sure could use his services against the likes of the Rams. He should practice again today in some fashion and, if so, looks more and more likely to play.

Andre Johnson, WR, Texans: This Johnson also returned to practice yesterday. He plans to keep true on his promise that he will play this weekend after suffering a bruised lung last Sunday which sent him to the hospital. Keep an eye on his status Sunday morning.

Start 'em

Quarterbacks

David Garrard @ Titans
The Titans D certainly cannot be as bad as two weeks ago in New England. But even if they are half as bad, that should be good enough for Garrard and Co.

Brett Favre @ Packers
Favre returning to Lambeau for the first time in a visitor's uniform should be one of those special days in his career.

Running Backs

Matt Forte vs. Browns
If he ever is going to get back on track, this is the game. And then you can sell Forte high to a needy owner.

Kevin Smith vs. Rams
Hopefully neither defense shows up for this game because it could be pretty exciting.

Wide Receivers

Mike Sims-Walker @ Titans
A good match-up for Garrard is a good match-up for Sims-Walker.

Donnie Avery @ Lions
Can he make it through an entire game without getting injured? If he can make it through this one unscathed, he could have a big day.

Tight End

Vernon Davis @ Colts
I doubt many fantasy owners are benching Davis at this point. This is just a friendly reminder that he is nearing must-start status every week now.

Sit 'em

Quarterbacks

Kyle Orton @ Ravens
Orton and the Broncos have been great all season. At some point, it has to come to an end right?!?

Alex Smith @ Colts
Fantasy owners rushed to the waiver wire for Smith this week. Just do not rush to start him yet.

Running Backs

Tim Hightower v. Panthers
It looked like Beanie Wells took over as the team's No. 1 running back last Sunday night in New York.

Ahmad Bradshaw @ Eagles
Bradshaw has a cracked bone in his foot and is one misstep away from exiting a game prematurely.

Wide Receivers

Greg Jennings vs. Vikings
Aaron Rodgers did not get sacked last weekend and could not get the ball to Jennings. Rodgers will be under constant fireagainthis weekend.

Mario Manningham @ Eagles
Drops are becoming an issue for Manningham. Hakeem Nicks is gaining serious ground in the passing game.

Tight End

John Carlson @ Cowboys
The Seahawks cannot block. Carlson is being used to help protect Matt Hasselbeck.
