Back on Track!

The New York Jets get back on track with a win against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday. They beat the sox out of the Oakland Raiders with a finally score of 38-0. After winning the first three games of the season then losing the next three games they came to a record of 3-3. But after this win they are 4-3 right behind the New England Patriots.

The New York Jets played better than they have played in previous weeks. Their star quarterback Mark Sanchez, who is supposed to change this team around has failed to do it so far. This week he played all right with 143 yards and one touchdown pass. But the Jets rushing really was outstanding having 316 yards and four rushing touchdowns. They took the line of scrimmage away from the Oakland Raiders. The biggest problem though for the Jets is getting their quarterback back because he has struggled so much. He can rely on the running game against some teams but not all teams will allow more than 300 yards of rushing. The Jets played amazing defense with two forced fumbles. The Jets got three sacks against Bruce Gradkowski and JaMarcus Russell. They put the pressure on the Raiders and made sure that they weren’t giving up any big plays. The Jets took over this game and if they can play as well as they have played against the New England Patriots then they will have a great season.

The New York Jets face off against the Miami Dolphins this Sunday. After the New York Jets lost against the Miami Dolphins in Week 5 by four points they have to win this game. Division games are huge in the AFC East because last year that was what depended on what team will go into the playoffs. The New York Jets were out played in that game especially with the quarterbacks. But the Jets should take advantage that Chad Pennington won’t be playing in this game. The Jets need to put pressure on defense and really take advantage of rookie mistakes that will happen in the game. Mark Sanchez will make the difference in this game because it depends how his playing. Mark has 10 interceptions this year which is awful because his averaging at least one interception a game. He is looking like a rookie right now with all the stupid errors. How is the Jets going to win with such a unpredictable quarterback? The Jets will have to learn from their mistakes in this game and most importantly have a big rushing day. If the rushing is the future of the offense, then the rushing is going to have to lead this team.

The New York Jets will have to really dig down deep but I still think they will win because if they play as good as last week than defiantly. The New York Jets have to believe and no give up big plays to Miami because they will take advantage. The New York Jets need Mark Sanchez to play well and the faith of their head coach, Rex Ryan.
