Del Potro Breaks Murray Duck In Madrid

Juan Martin Del Potro of Argentina went into his Quarter Final Match with the British No. 1 Andy Murray trailing 3-0 from their previous encounters.
Their 1st match was at the Masters series event in Rome and the pair were locked in a one set all tie when Del Potro had to retire.
They then met in the Quarter Final of the US Open. On that ocassion, Murray emerged victorious in four sets. Murray went on to stun the tennis world by reaching his first Grand Slam final in New York.
However he lost to world No. 1 Roger Federer in straight sets. Murray also beat Del Potro in the Semi of Miami this year on his way to the title.
However in Madrid this year Del Potro finally managed to put things right against Murray as he secured a superb straight sets victory over the Scot 7-6 6-3.
Del Potro lost to Federer in the next round.
Del Potro bounced back however and defied the Odds by beating Federer in the US Open final this year.
