Regarded by ESPN as #52 in this years incoming freshmen class, Ari Stewart comes in to Wake Forest hoping to prove his ranking was too low and to prove that Wake can still compete regardless of losing James Johnson and Jeff Teague to the NBA. Stewart could be possibly be in a big starting line up which could include Al-Farouq Aminu (6-9) and Chas McFarland (7-0), and also the big men on the bench with sophomores Tony Woods (6-11) and Ty Walker (7-0) along with senior David Weaver (6-11). Throw in that size with the speed of Stewart and returning senior point guard Ishmael Smith and the defensive prowess of senior L.D. Williams and Wake should be prepared to open some eyes this season and show that they still have a bittersweet taste in their mouth after last seasons early exit from the NCAA Tournament thanks to Cleveland State. Stewart (6-7) is ranked as the #10 small forward in this years ESPNU Top 100 and has the athletecism and shooting range to fill in that missing piece in this Wake Forest. If he can just improve his ball handling skills, he will then have all the tools needed to help show that this years Wake Forest Team should not be overlooked by anyone.
