Cristiano Ronaldo Shocks Real Madrid by Choosing Hull City

Cristiano Ronaldo has stunned Real Madrid by today declaring his intention to play for Hull City for next season. The Portuguese frontman gave an exclusive interview proclaiming his love for the Tigers.

Ronaldo said "This will be fulfilling a lifelong dream of mine since I was a boy living in Portugal. Hull were always my favourite side and my mother's too, this is too good to turn down."

This interview came after Bill Gates sensationally launched a move for Ronaldo just hours after his successful takeover at the KC Stadium.

Gates has reportedly offered Ronaldo £20 million a year to turn out at the KC Stadium in the orange and black of Hull City.

The move has caught Manchester United by surprise and his soon to be ex-gaffer Sir Alex Ferguson released a statement "We'd rather let Ronaldo rot in the stands then sell him to Hull, they're big rivals for the league next year."

Many fans of Manchester United are said to be going into a state of mourning over Ronaldo's inevitable departure with many extremely critical of Hull.

"They always do this through the media, make players unhappy at their clubs and this time it's worked."

Hull's transfer tactics will come under Fifa's microscope after Manchester threatened to report them over courting Ronaldo.

Loyalty will be another thing called into question during this sensational saga. Ronaldo was given a second chance by Ferguson after the Rooney incident but Ronaldo is determined to leave.

Apparently he has barred Ferguson access to Portugal's Euro 2008 camp to speak with him. This comes from fear that Ferguson will derail his dream move to Hull.

Hull are in pole position to grab Ronaldo and launch themselves back to past glory's and hopefully win the Champions League.
