After a frustrating loss in prime time to the Atlanta Falcons and a miserable pile of steaming garbage in Cincinnati, the Chicago Bears' fans are struggling for sobriety and sanity.

Jay Cutler's getting picked more than my two-year-old son's nose, Matt Forte is going backwards almost as fast as health care reform, and the defense makes Swiss cheese look like Fort Knox.

But it's not that bad, Bears fans! Take heart, it could be worse!

What follows is my evidence that there are at least 10 reasons that it just ain't that bad being a Bears fan.

10. Carolina Panthers

Their record's worse, their quarterback's worse, and their uniforms are ugly.

9. Tampa Bay Buccanneers

They're winless, but at least they're drivin' a Cadillac, right?

8. Oakland Raiders

Al Davis, pictured, needs to go away. And take JaMarcus Russell with him. Their offense, not the stands, has become the Black Hole - tons of talent, even more money, and nothing to show for it.

7. Detroit Lions

They're not number one? I'd call that a win for the Motor City.

6. Tennessee Titans

Their owner WANTS Vince Young to play.

Ouch baby, ouch!

5. St. Louis Rams

Just take a good, long look at their uniforms here.

4. Kansas City Chiefs

It's ironic that, if you ask an average person on the street what they know of the athlete name Larry Johnson, it's the one that did ads in drag.

3. Washington Redskins

Do I need to comment on the Redskins? Really?

2. Cleveland Indians... I mean Browns...

CLEVELAND - OCTOBER 04: Head coach Eric Mangini of the Cleveland Browns looks on against the Cincinnati Bengals during their game at Cleveland Browns Stadium on October 4, 2009 in Cleveland, Ohio. (Photo by Jim McIsaac/Getty Images)

I'm gonna throw the whole non-LeBron portion of Cleveland squarely under the bus.

Game One of the World Series pits two former Indians, CC Sabathia and Cliff Lee, against each other on the mound.

On the gridiron...Eric Mangini, the flu...And the Bears should handle them this weekend. Their best player is now a Jets receiver, too.

1. We've got the Blackhawks

HELSINKI, FINLAND - OCTOBER 02: Patrick Kane #88 of the Chicago Blackhawks in action during The Compuware/NHL Premiere Helsinki series match between the Florida Panthers and the Chicago Blackhawks at the Hartwall Areena on October 2, 2009 in Helsinki, Fi

When in doubt, jump off one bandwagon and hop on another. The Hawks are in first place and are good enough to stay there. If you're in Chicago and haven't noticed yet, do yourself a favor and pay attention.
