As Raiders week and Mid Season approach, The Chargers find themselves endowed with a gift from the NFL schedule makers.   October is coming to an end.  It has featured the bye week, and two preseason like games against the weaker sisters in the AFC West. The Chargers have been able to redress the injury situation: defensive and offensive schemes; as well as key personnel changes.

The Denver loss, albeit a disappointment, was at least not a head scratch-er, where do we go from here loss like the Steelers.  Other signs of improvement are a reinvigorated running game and on the other side of the ball-signs of stopping the run.

After looking at the remainder of the schedule, which includes the entire NFC East, an over rated division(given recent performances), the Chargers could easily be looking at 11-5 wild card, or even a division crown given a Denver collapse, which will start in B More on Sunday!

As I commented upon in my last article, The Bolts prevailed in KC, and are on the road to recovery.   It would be easy to dismiss this bunch as poorly coached and underachievers and for Coach and team to believe the press clippings.  However, given the heart that they have demonstrated, there is hope in Mission Valley! Stay tuned Chargers fans.
