Rams Lose Bradley Fletcher For Rest Of 2009

Bryan Brackney by Analyst Written on October 26, 2009
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch is reporting that Rams rookie cornerback Bradley Fletcher will miss the rest of the 2009 season. Fletcher suffered ligament damage on a play that he was burnt by Colts speedster Pierre Garcon.

Fletcher was starting alongside cornerback Ron Bartell, who covered the opposing team's top receiver, while Flectcher covered the team's second best receiver. Fletcher will need surgery to repair a hyper-extended knee.

The rams also lost long-snapper Chris Massey for the season after he was rocked by Colts tight end Jacob Tamme on a punt. According to the St. Louis Post Dispatch, the Rams tried out free agent LS Nathan Hodel on Monday.
