News: Blake Griffin Out Six Weeks, Now Officially a Clipper

What better way to begin the Blake Griffin Era for the Clippers than...to not start it.

Sports Illustrated is reporting early Tuesday morning that Griffin, the top pick in the 2009 NBA Draft, has a broken knee cap and could miss as much as the first six weeks of the season.

This news comes just days before the Clippers were set to unveil their top draft pick after an impressive preseason. Now, according to the report, that debut doesn't have a definitive date.
