I almost choked on a yogurt-covered pretzel when I read the Washington Wizards 2009 season preview on TruthAboutIt.Net and the projected wins, but he brings some solid works to back up the faith. If you are someone who loves the Wiz or cares about the NBA in general, you really should go read it.
The Truth is calling for the Mutomobo in wins this year. I think they will go eight less than that (47 wins), and make the second round. The Wiz have always looked good on blog posts and newspapers, but they usually get derailed by injuries and a lack of defensive commitment.
But they are older, wiser, and everything else Marvin Sapp could call them. That alone should count for five more wins than you think they’ll get.
Here’s hoping they make it.
