Frank Seravalli of the Philadelphia Daily News is reporting that Mike Richards will not be suspended for his devastating hit on the Panthers' David Booth last night during 2nd period action.

EDIT @ 2pm EST: TSN is now reporting the same information.

While we wish a speedy recovery for David Booth, this is great news for the Flyers (5-2-1) who face the San Jose Sharks (6-4-1) tonight at the Wachovia Center.

The Sharks outlasted the Thrashers on Saturday night with a 4-3 victory, while the Flyers won their second straight game, 5-1 over the Panthers.

Brian Boucher is slated to get the nod in goal for the Flyers.  This will be his first start of the season.
