UFC 104: Mauricio Rua Robbed in Light Heavyweight Bout

In one of the most anticipated fights in MMA in quite some time, Mauricio Rua put on a striking clinic at UFC 104 Saturday night against one of the best fighters on the planet, Lyoto Machida.

In a intriguing contest held in Los Angeles, Shogun punished Machida with leg and body kicks throughout the fight. Machida kept his calm and continued to fight the way he always fights. Even, so he lost at least four of the five rounds, possibly winning the third.

I scored the fight 49-46 in Shogun's favour. To my surpirise, and indeed everyone across the world, the judges scored the fight UNANIMOUSLY in Machida's favour. In one of the worst decisions in UFC history, the fans are robbed of the true champion of the light heavyweight division—Mauricio "Shogun" Rua.
