English cricket is getting better and better with every season, both the players coming through and the younger ones that have already made it.

For example, just today (Friday 6th June 2008) Stuart Broad scored his first half century (64) at Trent Bridge against the Kiwis and bowled well. But it was another young talent that stole the show: James Anderson.

Having already made his best test score with the bat (28), he followed that up with what seems to be a match winning performance with the ball, taking 6-42 in no time at all.

Another couple of players are Ravi Bopara and Alistair Cook (above). Cook has cemented down an opener's spot and averaging 40+ for England's Test side and Bopara having just scored 201 off 138 balls for Essex, the latter all but securing his place for the upcoming one day series.

Here are my select few that I feel have an amazing future: Luke Wright, Joe Denly, Adil Rashid, Graham Onions, Tim Ambrose and Phil Mustard.

I picked all of the above because these are the players that I believe will be in the Test side in the years to come and win games for this country on a regular basis, especially the first four.

On a final note, I can see all the players mentioned above becoming world class cricketers and play for England in all formats for many years.
