Mike Skinner Is Perfect So Far at Martinsville for the Kroger 200

Randy Moss Motorsports Mike Skinner's 200th start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is shaping up to be a perfect weekend.

While the Truck Series first practice session was cut short to just 15 minutes due to rain.

It was enough time for Skinner to be the fastest in the session with a lap time of 19.957 seconds for a lap speed of 94.484 MPH.

The final practice session was a full session and just got started late due to the rain earlier in the day.  

Skinner would pace the final practice session with a lap time of 19.834 seconds for a lap speed of 95.472 MPH.

Then during qualifying, Skinner would capture his 50th career pole position and he's the all-time leader in the series.

He ran a lap time of 19.780 seconds for a lap speed of 95.733 MPH and beat Ron Hornaday Jr. by 0.024 seconds.

On Saturday at 1:00 PM, Skinner will be seeking his fourth career win on the paperclip-shaped oval and to achieve a perfect weekend.

"Every time I come here I just love this place," Skinner said.
