David Molk Will Start for Michigan Wolverines

The WolverineCorrespondent IOctober 23, 2009

It looks like he'll definitely get some playing time. Molk is technically listed as "probable," which means he has a 75 percent chance of playing. Coach Rodriguez said Molk was fully participating in practice.

Yesterday, Rodriguez confirmed that he will start. "He did quite a bit yesterday in full pads,” Rodriguez said yesterday. “The report today from the trainers is that he handled it well. He was a little sore, as could be expected, but I think he came through it all well. He should be fine for Saturday."

You would think that if he could go, he'd start. Because inserting Molk would shuffle Moosman and put the right tackle position up for battle (Huyge vs. Dorrestein), it would be rather odd to insert him midway through the game. Either way, it will be great to have him back in uniform and on the field.
