Ford Racing has just announced that David Ragan and Matt Kenseth will have the Ford FR9 racing engine in their cars for the Amp Energy 500 at Talladega Superspeedway.

I would assume that Jack Roush chose who would get to race with the new engine.

Until it's tested under actual race conditions, the other Roush and Yates cars will stay with the same engines.

We know how the Bow Tie boys have run this year, so it will be very interesting to see if these two cars can run up front.
