"Loves and Hates For Week 7"
With week 6 of fantasy football over now we are all looking into week 7. We all learned many things in week 6, like how the Titans are one of the worst teams in the NFL, also we learned that Brett Favre is the real deal as he led another great comeback against the Ravens and has put up great numbers this season, and also that the Eagles are not as great as we thought they were. In this article I will give u a glimpse of the players that i think will shine and the players that I think will not show up this week in week 7 of fantasy football.
Aaron Rodgers is ready to pick apart the Cleveland Browns Defense
In week 7 Aaron Rodgers has his easiest matchup of the season. He is facing a Cleveland Browns team that has been nothing but a huge dissapointment this season. This looks like Rodgers will have a career day, im not saying he is going to put up the kind of numbers that Tom Brady put up against the 0 and 6 Titans, but he will do great nonetheless. The Browns are prone to let up a huge game to Rodgers as they are falling apart this season and in week 6 there defense gave up 417 passing yards to "Big Ben" of the Steelers. The Packers are a pass first team while the Steelers are not so expect Rodgers to put up 25 plus fantasy points this week as he has a very easy matchup with the Browns.
My predictions for Rodgers: 22 out of 30 passing, 350 yards, 3 td 0 int
4 carries 20 yds 25+ fantasy pts
DeAngelo ready to destroy Buffalos D
After last weeks chart topping performance from Williams, this matchup in week 7 for him vs. the Bills defense looks like another game in which Williams will shine in. Here are some quick stats for ya: Buffalo gives up an average of about 167 rushing yds to opponents a game and they have given up 3 200 yd rushing games to opponents this year(Jets, Dolphins, and Saints). Not to mention they give up an average of 27.3 fantasy points per game to opponents running backs which just happens to be the worst of all defenses in the league. Its scary, Williams has his swagger back and the Bills run D has no swagger at all. Look for a huge week out of DeAngelo.
My prediction: DeAngelo Williams 29 carries for 166 yards and 2 touchdowns. 20+ fantasy pts.
Grant ready to breakout against Manginis struggling team
Ryan Grant puts up decent numbers every week in fantasy, with about 10 pts every week. In this game versus the Browns I think the Packers will run away with it early. This will give Grant more touches than in any other game this year most likely and it helps when the Browns defense will be worn out because their offense can't seem to stay on the field for to long. Just like the Bills defense, the Browns run defense is the 3rd worst in the NFL giving up well over 140 rushing yards a game. Ryan Grant will be in the top 5 fantasy points leaders this week i think.
My prediction: Ryan Grant 20 caries for 110 yards and 2 touchdowns. 4 rec. 56 yds 1td. 20+ fantasy pts
Big Ben finally falters
Big Ben has had an outstanding year so far as he is leading the NFL in yards passing and has put up great numbers. He has also been one of the most reliable players in fantasy as he has been putting up constantly about 20 fantasy points every week. In week 7 his Steelers will meet up with the undefeated Minnesota Vikings lead by Brett Favre. Most people would think this matchup would be a good one for Big Ben and think he will put up great numbers again, but i don't think he will. POP!! Thats the sound you will hear a lot of this Sunday as the big brutes of the Vikings defensive line sack Big Ben to the turf. Right now Minnesota is as confident and as energized as they have ever been, and their defense I think will show that versus Big Ben and the defending Super Bowl Champs.
My prediction: Big Ben 19 out of 32 passing for 218 yards 1td and 2 int. 10 to 15 fantasy pts
Can Sanchez turn it around this week? I highly doubt it
After a miserable week 6 for Sanchez he is heading into this weeks game versus the Raiders looking to get back on the right track, like he was in the first three weeks of the season. Even though I think Sanchez will turn out to be a great NFL quarterback one day, he isn't going to be going in that direction after week 7. Well it just so happens that the Raiders are coming off a huge win versus the Philadelphia Eagles, a game in which their defense dominated the usually high soaring Eagles offense. Even though the Jets will win this game this week most likely, it will be because of their running game. I'm not saying Sanchez is going to put up the horrific type of numbers which he did last week but they aren't going to be the type of numbers you want out of a first string quarterback in your fantasy leagues.
My prediction: Mark Sanchez 15 out of 24 for 169 yards 1 touchdown, 1 interception. 8 to 13 fantasy pts
Steelers D slows down A.P.
The number one pick in most every fantasy football league is not going to put up the numbers you usually expect out of him this week. Everyone knows that the Steelers are one of the best teams at stopping the run and they will live up to that expectation as usual this week against the Vikings i think. Am I saying that Peterson is going to only rush for 40 yards? No, I think A.P. will put up about 60 to 85 rushing yards on about 20 carries and I don't believe he will find the endzone this week. Brett Favre will have to make the big plays on Sunday for the Vikings this week against the defending Super Bowl Champs.
My prediction: A.P. 19 rushes for 72 yards. 2 catches for 15 yards. 8 fantasy pts
